- Identify the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a resource for Ebola-related questions.
Kari Yacisin currently works at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer. She attended medical school at Wake Forest University and received a Masters in Public Health from the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. She completed Internal Medicine residency at the University of Utah and an Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of New Mexico. This summer, she travelled to Guinea to assist with the Ebola outbreak response.
